The built-in stereo speakers allow you to just plug and play, but there are RCA outputs if you want to hook the Discovery up to a receiver or powered speakers. Other features include pitch control to fine tune the speed of the record, aux in and a built-in Bluetooth receiver that allows you to stream your digital music through the turntables speakers.
